Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until you achieve a cohesive mixture resembling wet sand.
- Layer the base: Spoon the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of each jar. Press down gently to create a solid base that will support the layers above.
- Make the filling: In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with your electric mixer until smooth.
- Incorporate lime: Slowly add in the key lime juice and lime zest, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Layer the cheesecake: Carefully layer the creamy filling atop the graham cracker base in each jar.
- Chill: Cover the jars and place them in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Before serving, heap a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with extra lime zest.
Notes
