- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Add melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla extract to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the peach mixture into a baking dish and drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
