Description

A comforting and hearty ravioli lasagna layered with rich meat sauce and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Layer half of the ravioli in a baking dish. Spread half of the meat sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Top with grated Parmesan.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble the lasagna up to 24 hours in advance. For freezing, wrap tightly and store for up to two months.
