- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded toasted coconut
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan generously.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a large bowl. Stir in both granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into your greased pan, smoothing it evenly.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the brownie batter and sprinkle the toasted coconut on top.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes; check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool slightly before sprinkling chocolate chips over the top and drizzle with additional melted chocolate if desired.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
