Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled onions
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup spicy aioli
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form about 2 ounces of ground beef into a ball and place it in the skillet.
  3. Smash it down firmly with a spatula and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patty for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  5. Melt the cheese on each patty in the final minute of cooking.
  6. Warm tortillas in another pan or microwave until pliable.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing a patty on each tortilla, topping with pickled onions and lettuce, and drizzling with aioli.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
