- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni or your favorite pizza toppings
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain well and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce mixture. Toss well.
- Pour half of the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti. Add your chosen pizza toppings.
- Layer the remaining half of the spaghetti on top, followed by the rest of the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can assemble the casserole the night before and bake it the next day. For quicker cooking, an air fryer can be used.
