Description

A comforting blend of spaghetti and pizza in a hearty casserole, featuring layers of seasoned meat, marinara sauce, and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni or your favorite pizza toppings
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain well and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce mixture. Toss well.
  6. Pour half of the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti. Add your chosen pizza toppings.
  8. Layer the remaining half of the spaghetti on top, followed by the rest of the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble the casserole the night before and bake it the next day. For quicker cooking, an air fryer can be used.
