- 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Combine ricotta, spinach, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Fold the cooked pasta and half of the marinara sauce into the ricotta mixture.
- Grease a baking dish and spread half of the remaining marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Layer the pasta mixture on top, spreading it evenly.
- Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the pasta.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden-brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This pasta bake can be prepared in advance; just assemble it, refrigerate, and bake when ready.
