Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and almond extract (if using) until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before frosting and adding sprinkles if desired.
