Description

A delightful dish featuring flaky mahi mahi fillets marinated in a citrusy blend of lemon, garlic, and fresh herbs, baked to perfection for a burst of ocean flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 mahi mahi fillets
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Marinate the mahi mahi fillets in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve with steamed vegetables, rice pilaf, or a crisp green salad.
  7. Sprinkle chili flakes on top if desired for extra zing.

Notes

For best results, marinate the fish at least 15 minutes and avoid overcooking to preserve texture. You can also prepare the marinade a day in advance.
